About

Nordtype is an independent type foundry, working between Vienna and Gothenburg.

We draw retail typefaces: workhorses for long text, display faces with more to say for themselves, and whatever the next one turns out to be. Most of them have been years in the drawing. Every family has a free trial cut, so you can set it properly before you decide.

Fonts are licensed directly on this site, with terms in plain language and pricing that scales with the size of the job. Questions, custom work, or a hello: hello@nordtype.com
